A Month in the Tropics: Chapter 4: Tactics
From SSDC, Inc.
||BM’s note:Feel free to adjust the teams and tactics anyway you need for your playing stile and you game. Money and skills are not balanced to depict the differences higher skilled players face. The varying experience vs starting and bonus experience can change a lot of things. The teams created took very little bonus skill point into account but had other considerations, this is why they are listed at 300,000 experience. Also Matrix level advancement was not accounted for and both matrix users here are considered a little different/off.
---“”The Easharindin will probably leave the Human Male, Talon, along with most of the detection equipment to keep an eye on their home base. He will keep hidden in the camp paying attention to the sensor, range being the most important. The vibro rod has the longest rang and will be set to emit a small sound when something is detected so he can keep an eye on visuals etc...
The others will split into two groups Shiellee will lead one and Gilleen will lead the other. Reconnaissance is the first order of business. They keep to radio silence unless needed. They go in either direction around the island to check routs, dangers, distance. They will take a day, as is needed based on distance anyway. If amicable they will get into view of the others bases. They figure they will run in to them before they actually get to a base. they will evaluate the situation as needed, having no problem with retreat if need be, but their Pride and stubbornest may keep them engaged. Still, with needing info from others they are wondering if they should keep others alive or not..."a dead man tells no tails and gathers no points" do I win by destroying everything as fast as possible, “what I’m good at” or go for all?
They are skilled to kill more then capture and question, but...
---“”Skeeter’s are more then willing to let their K-sats start for them. Their ‘eye in the sky’ will be controlled to first verify the islands layout and determine which base they are at. The other two K-Sats will be controlled to costal routs on either side to patrol and guard. Others, while verifying data, will also be continuing work on already started programing for the terrain and engagements scenarios etc...(they have detailed info on the other teams and how they work). The Mutzachan will be using Hologram and Solid Energy to be making a camouflage shell over the base/ buildings, then with great effort generate Permanence. This way there is an extra line of defense and the base will be more challenging to detect... ( the mutzachan can make a barrier permanent once a day and may make multi layered protections).
|BM’s note: "Ideally" The Easharindin will keep Talon back to protect the base, while the others go in force at night against the PCs. They will go in force and to capture and destroy. They will act as soon as night falls, figuring 'actions speak louder then words', and all that 'early bird gets the worm'. Not to mention the extra gear they could get out of it. (Depending how they party plays it...).
|BM’s note: one way or another the Skeeter’s will be positioning K-Sats to watch, listen, and strike. They figure their K-Sats are fast but can’t takeout the concrete buildings (they way there designed, but can take out internal systems. They wont try unless opportunity knocks. Otherwise, a small team will go off, the mutzachan will be part of this, and they will Fly using Matrix Manipulation and Invisibility to a more advantaged level. They plane on targetting the building to make life as difficult for the other teams. Most important is eliminating the enemies gear with the metal guns in the K-Sats. "Can't make war if you don't have weapons and armor!"
