Black Guard: Elite military units controlled by the central government of the American Combine.

Cabal: The name given to a group of Prophets.

Chosen Ones: Pure Humans who inhabit the dome cities.

Final Solution: The idea that all mutants should eventually be eradicated and replaced by normal Humans to ensure a better world. This policy of genocide was developed by the Chosen Ones.

Heretic: The followers of the Underground Collective who live in the Waste.

Magic: The specific formula/process used to channel psycho-kinetic energy from its potential to active state.

Mobius: Mutant operatives working within the US government to hunt down and wipe out all Prophets and other subversives.

Monkey: A Black Guard operative forced into service against the Prophets through coercion. A remote controlled micro-explosive has been implanted in the Monkey's body to ensure loyalty and performance.

Outlaw: A person who has betrayed the Underground Collective for power and greed. A Prophet who has fallen from grace.

Pitstop: A secret location where Prophets can purchase arms and equipment.

Prophets: Those individuals who have been sent out by the Underground Collective to rebuild a new world order.

Rook: A term used to describe a group of heavily armed, alien warriors who carry out hit and run raids on government units, to prevent them from wiping out the mutants.

Sanitation Terraformers: Scientist/military units whose sole mission is to eradicate the mutants and cleanse the environment.

Shanty Towns: Those slums that surround the domed cities.

Trial: The initial test that a Prophet Initiate must pass to become a true Prophet.

Underground Collective: The secret organization set up to fight the existing government and status quo.

Waste: The desolate, fruitless land that once was the United States of America.

Wilding: A secret meeting called by a group of Prophets, through the use of UV torches, when they are in trouble.

Window: A ham radio operator who secretly transmits messages between various Prophet groups operating in the Waste.
