Chasm of Ishthar

This geographical feature was originally intended to be located within the Shadow's Rim sector. It can, however, be located wherever the BM needs it for his group and adventure idea.
Within this void at the rim of the Motaran Rift exists a strange energy being called Ishthar or simply "The Queen". Reports concerning "her" appearance are often controversial, some claiming her form manifests as a drifting "light", some - more recent - reports claiming that "she" looks like a golden glowing female human with a shimmering armor and a crown of lapislazuli.
The being does not seem to be hostile, however not friendly, either, since ships trying to traverse the Chasm are often warned away or even attacked, however not to the point of destroying the ship. For no apparent reasons, some ships are allowed to traverse the Chasm. Scientists are still contemplating the criteria for being let through, speculating about the type of ship and crew being requested for by Ishthar. Sye-Men seem to know something about the being but staunchly refuse to comment about her, no matter how cryptically.
