Condemned

In Condemned you guys say Devast-8 has an anti-missile system with the stats of the Condor AMS.
But you guys got rid of that system ages ago!
A: Consider this to be the best LAM system

Galactic Underground

In GU, artifacts were listed. Why was “Harm” left out? Will stats for it ever be listed?
A: Stats for Harm are found with the stats for its wielder in Condemned.

Hell's Kitchen

In Hell’s Kitchen, THE XARIAN CONSPIRACY, The first sentence says the Xarian are “six legged, methane breathing beings”.
However, when describing their physiology it states, “They are oxygen breathers and, in fact, the bumps which cover their bodies are air sacks.”
Which is right ... methane or oxygen?
A: Well, they should be methane breathers. Any oxygen worlds they inhabit should be methane worlds.

Hell’s Kitchen lists the Xarian Confederacy and the Xarian Hegemony.
What are they (and the differences between the two)? Which is command?
A: I believe the Confederacy is the small group found in Fornax subsector Hell's Kitchen.
Hegemony is the large intergalactic government.

I was glancing at the large maps in Hell's Kitchen and No Man's Land and I noticed something missing.
If you look at “Kente”, hex 1729, NML, you see a trade route leading into hex 1629. It ends here.
The path should take it into hex 1528, but that hex does not exist.
Also, note that ALL hexes ending along the boarder that are odd (the first 2 digits) and ending in 28 are missing (0128, 0328, 0528, 0728, etc.. up to 3528).
A: Woo hoo!! It ends at Nu Mars (hex 1427). Fortunately all those hexes are empty!
Editor’s Note: See what happens when you do things at the last minute?

What’s past the The Motaran Rift?

A: Check out Battlelords: Beyond the Rift to find out.

Why doesn’t Mulligan’s Rock have a planetary code (and why is it listed in the very end of the book)?
A: Well, it probably has something to do with being written by Ben, and the fact that I made a Planetary Code which was ... not put in!! Woo hoo!

No Man's Land

In NML there are several places/worlds that are listed as having ruins, etc.
Will there be any books covering these lost cultures/treasures, and what can be found therein?
A: No, as of now. This is to give BMs a place for their modules that will work into the BLs universe.

No Man's Land, planet for sale (ROENUO.OO.-MS4 (hex 2430)): How much?
A: 1/2 trillion credits, give or take a million.
Note: There are some nasty 4th Dimensional Beings inhabiting the planet.

How much does it cost to travel 1 hex map in No Man’s Land?
A: 1 map hex, or 1 hex map??
Your average fare for a ticket aboard a liner traveling by hyperspace is about 1,000cr per person per hex.
Of course this takes 2 days per hex of distance.
Stargates usually cost about 5,000cr and up per person, and can go to any other stargate instantly.

How far is No Man’s Land from the core worlds?
How can you travel between the two, and how much time and money does it costs?
A: No Man’s Land is in the Fornax Galaxy; the Core worlds are in the Milky Way.
They are millions of light years apart and the only practical means of travel is by stargate.
As in NML, the price of a stargate transit to the Core Worlds would be about 1million credits for a ship.
So if a 500 passenger liner was making the trip they would charge about 15,000cr per person. (Profit included!)

Uncle Ernie's Minions of Doom

What is the Maelstrom General’s gore attack?
A: Once per day, for any 30 second period, the Maelstrom General is able to produce 10pt gravitational sheers.
It can fire them out to a range of 1,000m at a rate of 1 per second.

What does a Sau Bau’s kinetic energy immunity protect it from?
A: All forms of kinetic energy, which includes all HTH and melee attack forms.
NOTE: This only applies when the Sau Bau spends points from its energy pool!
It also applies to all bullets, tank shells, and other physical missiles.

Can you list specific weapons, and damage types that the Sau Bau’s “kinetic energy absorption” protect it from?
A: All archaic hand weapons in Lock-n-Load.

Does the Maelstrom General's gore attack/gravitational sheer ignore A-Grav belts?
A: No, A-Grav belts block the attack.

How do the Scavernauk Juggernaut’s arm spikes, and the Airborne Guillotine’s wing attacks affect heavy armor?
A: Normally. Assume all creatures affect heavy armor normally unless they are weak or this just doesn’t make sense.
All Arachnid minions and 4th dimensional creatures perform normally vs heavy armor, as does the transmorphic killer, and the Sucks-2-BU. Other monsters on a case by case basis.

Can you kill a Sucks-2-Be-U, by setting an Abomination cannon on overload?
A: This is not recommended.

Can a Sau Bau waste an Eridani wearing power mesh armor and carrying a BC-Winderdom.
If not, what do you suggest to confront one of these things?
A: I suggest prayer.

Is there any particular method for determining System Shock (or Resurrection) for a creature/race in Uncle Ernie’s?
So as to determine whether or not a particular being passes out from a critical hit ...
Or in case one of the critters needs to be brought back to life ...
A: Most creatures have a 95+ in both of these.

How is the charging damage figured for the Bladed Crawler on non-vehicle charges?
A: As stated in the second column, a person who is charged is impaled for 6-36 points.

The Jezdarean Slayer has the following skills and abilities:
lvl 10 stealth, lvl 8 infiltration, lvl 10 camouflage, -30 thermal detection, -45 visual detection (-75 when phased).
What’s the modifier to see and hear the thing (and what bonuses do the players apply to attempting to see it).
Is it -195 vision, (-125 phased) to see it, and -150 to hear it?
Do players get to use detect concealment, vision & INT bonuses?
A: Vision modifier is -145 (-175 phased): -10 per Camouflage level.
Infiltration only helps it try and avoid even being in the visual range of guards, cameras, etc.
All of the things you mentioned can be used.

The Arachnid Warrior has an external flux shield rated at 1HP and THR 9. I’m not clear on how this works.
Do you mean that the incoming damage greater than 9 points leaks through the shield (the shield itself absorbing 9 points for internal usage with a 1HP total capacity) to impact the armor itself, or does it operate in some other fashion?
A: The shield completely ignores the first 9 points of damage from every attack (subtract 9 from the yield).
Any additional damage strikes the shield which then acts as a normal flux shield.
When the flux shield is knocked down (100 points inflicted) this 9 threshold is also gone.
Further attacks strike the armor of the Arachnid.

What is that thing on page 73 in Uncle Ernie’s Minions of Doom?
A: A new enemy of the Alliance that will be released upon the poor, unsuspecting souls shortly.
