  • Absorption Rating (AR) - Effectively, armor's body points. Specifically, the amount of damage armor's flex polymers can absorb before the owner takes damage.
  • Action Tri-V - Like television, but in TRI-VISION.
  • Acid Survival Matrix Roll - A character's base chance to avoid damage from acid based attacks. Acid permanently burns the body, leaving horrible scars. A specific variety of Chemical Survival Matrix Roll.
  • Advanced Reconnaissance, Surveillance, And Patrol (ARSAP) - The lead survey teams that land on newly discovered planets after a ship in orbit runs a surface scan and determines it is safe. Most ARSAPs land in advance of colonists to ensure the planet is habitable.
  • Aeodronian
  • Aggression (AGR) - A Vital Statistic. Measures the tendency for a character to attack another character under provocation.
  • Agility (AGL) - A Vital Statistic. Measures reflexes, quickness, and balance of a character.

  • Ablative Liner (AL) - A this lining in armor to protect against lasers.
  • Anarchist Rebellion Movement (ARM)

  • Anti-Missile Missile (AMM) - mini-missiles designed to take out incoming missiles, rockets, and grenades.
  • Anti-Missile System (AMS) - A system designed to take out incoming missiles, rockets, and grenades.
  • Applied Systematics (AS)
  • Arachnids
  • Archaic Hand Weapon (AHW) - Primitive cutting/thrusting/crushing weapons that rely on muscle power to inflict damage. Examples include: Swords, axes, clubs, dokas, nun chucks, etc.
  • Archaic Powder Weapon (APW)> - Handguns of the 20th and 21st Century. Though long outdated, they are still useful today. Examples include: Pistols, rifles, shotguns, machine guns, etc.
  • Arlington Association
  • Armor Piercing (AP) - Ammunition that is designed to penetrate armor.
  • Armor Piercing Incendiary (API) - Ammunition that not only is designed to penetrate armor, but also ignite any flammable material and cause serious burns.
  • Armor Integrity (AI) - Effectively, the amount of metal covering armor. Specifically, the amount of damage that armor can withstand before it is rendered useless and unprotective. Each time damage exceeds armor Threshold, armor integrity is reduced. Different weapons reduce armor integrity differently. If any section of armor integrity reaches 0, that armor section is destroyed.

  • Assassin - Nickname for Kizanti.
  • Asset/Loan Index (ALI) - This reflects a character's net worth and his or her credit history. See Galactic Underground.
  • Atlanteans
  • Attack Bonus (AB) - A modifier applied to combat situations. If a character uses a ranged weapon, this modifier is based on the Manual Dexterity Vital Statistic. If a character is engaged in hand to hand combat or using an archaic hand weapon, this modifier is based on the Agility Vital Statistic
  • Attractor/Repressor Beam (A/R) - A weapon that generates an alternating attraction and repulsion beam every couple of nano-seconds. It "shakes" objects contained within weapons and armor to pieces in nano-seconds. It can hold people in place.
