  • Captain Catastrophe and his Legion of Doom - An unflattering nickname for a mercenary group composed primarily of Eridani that was lost, never to be heard from again, while exploring the Motaran Rift. Legend has it that anyone who runs across the Eridani commanding officer of this group or his soldiers will suffer a horrible fate.
  • Cashou
  • Campaign - A series of ongoing adventures.
  • Cash on Hand (COH) - The number of credits a PC or NPC is likely to be carrying at any given time.
  • Changeling - Nickname for Mazian.
  • Cedeun
  • Charisma (CHR) - A Vital Statistic. A measure of a character's physical attractiveness, charm, and sense of humor.
  • Chatilian
  • Chatilian Interest Firm
  • Chemical, Biological, and Radiation Detection Module (CBR5R) - A module that allows a computer to detect chemical, biological, and radioactive agents.
  • Chemical Redox Agent (CRA) - An applicator (usually one-shot) filled with a special chemical anti-toxin that reinforces a soldier's immune system to counter chemical attacks.
  • Chemical Survival Matrix Roll (Chem) - the base chance a character has for avoiding damage from chemical agents like nerve gas, blood agents, blister agents, etc.
  • Chunga - A flatus emitted from a Ram Python.
  • Cold Attack - An armor's resistance to the effects of cold. Relates the toughness SMR against cold.
  • Cizerack
  • Cold Survival Matrix Roll - the base chance a character has for avoiding the effects of low temperatures. Cold tends to shut down the body. Frostbite is common.
  • Computing Capacity (CC) - Where data is stored and where constructs perform tasks in computers.
  • Constitution (CON) - A Vital Statistic. A character's physical fitness, health, and bodily resistance to disease and infection. Determines a character's body points.
  • Control Level (CL) - The base level of difficulty needed to control a nanoid. Essentially, it's the skill level check (Programming) needed to pass for successful use of a nanoid.
  • Coreszian
  • Core Worlds, The - The home worlds of the Alliance species, located in the Milky Way galaxy.
  • Council of Timar - The governing council of the Alliance.
  • Critical Hit (Crit) - A particularly nasty wound.
  • Cuontol
  • Customer Credit Index (CCI) - A number regarding a character's credit history. It combines a character's Employment Index, Asset/Loan Index, and a Racial Index. See Galactic Underground.
  • Cyball
  • Cyber Research Institute
