  • Madusiams
  • Malfunction Number (MN) - An attack roll equal to or above this number results in a weapon's malfunction. All weapons, with the exception of most Archaic Hand Weapons, malfunction. When a weapon malfunctions, it cannot be used again until the problem is corrected. That's bad.
  • Manual Dexterity (MD) - A Vital Statistic. Measures hand-eye coordination in a character. Important for surgery, mechanics, and handling ranged weapons. A low score assumes a character is clumsy when handling things.
  • Markuss - The Mutzachan is one of the most powerful beings in the universe. He is capable of taking on starships by himself.
  • Massive Body Rehabilitation Injection (MBRI) - A super charged version of the BRI.
  • Matrix - The specific formula/process used to channel psycho-kinetic energy from its potential to active state.
  • Matrix Controller (MC) - Those individuals who possess the ability to harness and transmit psycho-kinetic energy.
  • Maximum Damage Capacity (MDC) - The amount of damage negated when an attack penetrates a vehicle's reactive armor threshold.

  • Mega-Corporations - Huge, powerful companies that run the Alliance from behind the scenes.
  • Melonhead - a nickname for Mutzachan.
  • Mental Bonus (MB) - Modifier added to one's SMR versus mental attacks. This modifier is also added to sighting, hearing, and smelling checks, as well as any Intuition skill checks.
  • Mental Survival Matrix Roll - The base chance a character has for avoid attack forms employed by all empaths. Effects depend on the matrix used.

  • Military Leadership (ML) - A Secondary Statistic. Measure's a character's ability to lead combat troops.
  • Mining Away Teams (MAT)

  • Modifier - Changes to the base chance to accomplish something based on the surrounding circumstances.
  • Module Capacity (MC) - The maximum number of allowable modules a computer may have.
  • Module Quality (MQ) - Just what it sounds like. As a computer module ages of is damaged, the MQ is lowered. An MQ of 0 is a new module.
