Ultra Armor - Mechanized armor that is piloted by a single being who sits inside, directing the unit via his own reflexes and thoughts. Also called Humpty Dumpties.
Uncle Ernie - Head of the Anarchists Rebellion Movement (ARM)
Unadjusted Attack Number (UAN) - The base chance for a character to hit in combat. Circumstance modifiers are applied to this number.
Unadjusted Percentage Chance (UPC) - Same as Unadjusted Percentage chance of Success (UPS). The base chance for a character to succeed at a skill roll. Skill difficulty rating and circumstance modifiers are applied to this number. Only applicable to non-weapon skills.
Unadjusted Percentage chance of Success (UPS) - Same as Unadjusted Percentage Chance (UPC). The base chance for a character to succeed at a skill roll. Skill difficulty rating and circumstance modifiers are applied to this number. Only applicable to non-weapon skills.
Upgrade Limit (UL) - The extent to which the Computing Capacity of a given computer type can be upgraded.
Urban Combat Assault Team (UCAT) - After SWATs, the third line of police defense is composed of elite combat personnel with sophisticated equipment. If the UCAT cannot handle the situation, the Alliance military is called.
