Weapon Description

MS-64 Rifle. This plastic Ceramic composite archaic powder rifle is breathing new life into the market. The design is comparable to a M-16, melded with the drum clip of a Tommy gun. The clip is somewhat awkward, but also helps balance the weapon which gives it a decent accuracy. Based on the same principles as the MS-48 pistol and following the same rules, the MS-64 rifle allows the a decent ROF to be brought onto a chosen target. There are other rifles that have a greater rate of fire, but the MS-64 makes up for it with its threshold reduction abilities and reliability. The standard drum clip holds 60 rounds, and is relatively easy to reload. The gun uses a somewhat awkward ammo size of 8mm, these bullets cost 25credits for a box of 50, with an encumbrance of 2 for the box of ammo. Normal archaic powder ammunition options are available with this ammo as well. Supply and demand for this weapon is on the rise, but the company who produces it, Smith Archaic Systems, is already ahead of schedule. Ammo and weapons are uncommon availability, but that is rapidly changing, as all MS weapons are being considered a candidate for addition to Galactic Alliance Armed Services.
