HISTORY:
You are a minor noble, a scion of one of the lesser Royal Houses of Eridine. Succession was but a remote possibility, so you dedicated yourself even more intensely to your warrior training. Though you were impetuous (and still are), you were also possessed with great courage and commitment. Such was your dedication that you graduated at the top of your class at the famous Swintash School of the Sword. Your mentor was so pleased with your performance that he gave you a ceremonial suit of Bear armor as a gift. You returned to your home world, eager to tell your family of your proud accomplishments. The scene that awaited you there will be forever burned in your mind. Your parents and your elder brother lay dead in their own entrails. A severed tentacle, still twitching, left little doubt as to the killer's identity. A Phentari assassin had brutally murdered your cousin's family in the same way months before. From that day forth, you swore to avenge the deaths of your family. Your blood burned cold with the desire for retribution. Your father's light sword would be your means of reprisal. You would put your training to it best use. You live a Spartan, ascetic life by choice, eschewing material wealth. Money is simply a means to bring you closer to your ultimate purpose. Your "home" is a one-bedroom apartment in a lower class neighborhood. It is simply a place for you to sleep, work out, and store your gear between missions. Since then, nearly two dozen Phentari (and a few others) have fallen beneath your burning blade. Each kill brings you closer to the trail of the foul monster that has spilt the blood of your clan.
