Maybe you need an NPC that kicks some major ass. Maybe you're need to crush a piece of weak flesh beneath your crawler. Maybe you need something in between.

NPC by Experience (XP) is the place to come if your searching for an NPC based on, duh, experience. The higher the experience, the stronger the NPC.

Calculating Total Experience

When posting NPCs here, assigning a Total XP Rating to an unplayed NPC can be difficult. If you would prefer not to estimate an NPC's Total XP, you can use the following process and formula based on an NPC's Skills to calculate Total Experience.

1) Covert all Skill Levels into Proficiency Points; add together.
2) Subtract a race's base starting proficiency points (For example, Humans: 70, Kizanti: 30) from Step 1.
3) Multiply Step 2 result by 1000.
4) Any negative number reverts to 0.

Total Experience Formula

((Total Proficiency Points) - (Race's starting Proficiency Points)) * 1000 = Total XP

Example 1: Mom

Skill Level Skill Level Coverted into Proficiency Points
Alertness 2 (2)*(5) = 10
Archaic Powder Weapon 12 (12)*(2) = 24
Cooking 8 (8)*(2) = 16

Total Proficiency Points: (10 + 24 + 16) = 50
Race's starting Proficiency Point: Human: 70
Total Proficiency Points - Race's Starting Proficiency Points: (50 - 70) = -20
Multiple Result by 1000: (-20 * 1000) = -20,000; Any negative number reverts to 0

Total Experience: 0

Example 2: Captain Heinriksson

Skill Level Skill Level Coverted into Proficiency Points
Beam 5 (5)*(3) = 15
Hand-to-Hand 6 (6)*(2) = 12
Navigation 5 (5)*(4) = 20
Computer Ops 5 (5)*(1) = 5
Pilot: Starship 11 (11)*(6) = 66
Alertness 1 (1)*(5) = 5
Stealth 3 (3)*(1) = 3
Throwing 3 (3)*(3) = 15

Total Proficiency Points: (15 + 12 + 20 + 5 + 66 + 5 + 3 + 15) = 141
Race's starting Proficiency Point: Gen-Human: 50
Total Proficiency Points - Race's Starting Proficiency Points: (141 - 50) = 91
Multiple Result by 1000: (91 * 1000) = 91,000

Total Experience: 91,000

NOTE This undervalues matrix using races. However for basic NPC purposes it suffices. If you're adding your own matrix using PC to the NPC Library and it has been played heavily, be sure to add your Total XP to your MC XP for the correct XP number.
