Thissious Scourge of Many

Appears in: Survival Warrior: Chapter 3: Nine Clues to Cash
Description:Thissious is 6'3", 220lbs and size class 6. He is very smart and devious. He knows his life is on the line, and will stop at nothing to win. He paid off the painter to hide a tracer bug on someone's armor. He will spend the first few minutes re-tuning his helmet radio to pick up the character's transmissions. By the time that the characters find the second clue, he will know where they are, and hear everything that they say. He will use his speed to move ahead of the characters, and set up an ambush, then use his speed to get away.

He uses the microline missile rack partially as a storage unit. It is linked to the missile rack of his upper right tentacle to fire simultaneously. If that tentacle gets shot off, he will not be able to fire from the microline rack, but will take missiles from there to replace used ones. His first two salvos will be 2 slipstream and one inferon at a large target, his LOSN at a small target. He will take inferons from his microline to replace used arm rockets for his remaining 3 salvos of 3 inferons each. He is experienced in knowing exactly where 25 meters is, and will not fire the last three salvos beyond that.

His favorite tactic is to hide around a corner, letting one LOSN and three rockets peer out, (50% cover) and wait for the party to arrive. He will use the adrenal implant when the party gets close. Thissious picks his targets carefully. He will shoot at one large target with the rockets, and fire the LOSN at a small target.

Knowing that his shots are limited, he has two arms caches. The rooms and items are written on a slip of paper in a pocket. One is a LOSN energy pack, 2 roller grenades, and a plas grenade in room 201 of building 2, and the other is two LOSN energy pack, two concussion grenades, and a roller grenade in room 1922 of building 1.

Thissious has a pain inhibition generator and adrenal implant (cybertronics) in his body. He is slightly encumbered (by 14 pounds), which increases his initiative from its usual -6 to -5.

Roller grenades are an item Thissious has developed. He mounted an explosive and a metal detector on a children's toy car. It will go over smooth surfaces at 30 miles per hour (17 meters/sec) up to 170 meters, and explode at the nearest point (or impact) to a large metal object. It will track metallic armor within 10 meters per size class. It will not track ceramic, bio, or coral armors. The car will steer itself, but the target goes out of line-of-sight, such as around a corner, the car will continue to go straight. It is audible at a base chance of 50% -2% per meter of distance as a high whining noise. Characters in armor get a -20 to hear it, and have only a 75% chance to correctly identify the direction. Description: Battle tactics: Bob will take cover and brace his weapon the first round, taking called shots to damaged areas every round thereafter. Bracing bonuses are included in numbers below. Bob is not affected by the fog. He will only toss his plas grenade if multiple opponents confront his side of the ravine. Description: Battle tactics: First round: As told, Thud will move 10 meters away from the rest of the party and stand behind a fallen tree (25% cover). Second round: He holds the 48 Plus pistol in his left hand (-10 to hit is included in the below numbers) firing at distant opponents and yelling at them to face him like a man. If anyone closes within 50 meters (range 4). He tosses grenades. He lobs the worst grenades (those toward the end of the list) until someone closes to within 25 meters. He then switches to the Chemical and Plas grenades. The camouflage, cover, and size provide Thud with -10 to see for those looking for him.

Diana Cyber

Description: Battle tactics: A gorgeous female Orion runs toward you, waving her arms. She wears tattered andstained clothing. In one hand, she holds an old canvas sack. From her frantic screams, you deduce she has escaped from her captors. PCs automatically see her within 75 meters.
Diana separates herself from the rest of her group. She approaches any PC who comes close. She carefully avoids coming too close to anyone, as any PC touching her "tattered and stained clothing" realize it is Infiltrator armor. The sack contains some old rags and her teddy bear "Pookie" on top, but secreted beneath is a pair of plas grenades, her night stalker pistol, and a spare clip. She uses these items whenever a PC turns his or her back, but avoids protracted firefights. She has no helmet, but her bionic skull gives her a 4 point threshold against head attacks. She is under the effects of bio redox and chem redox agents.

Terrasik pays no attention to non-party members. If attacked at close range, she will regretfully run, returning after the battle is over. If Terrasik is the last conscious party member alive, she joins the PC's party as a loyal member--if allowed to bandage all wounds of her previous party. Due to a brain deformity, a 10% chance exists that whenever she generates, the matrix will fail.

Check for berzerk whenever Rex attacks a new opponent, takes more than 20 points of damage to his armor in one round, or takes body damage.

Description: Battle Tactics: Hirna is unusually fast for a Chatelian, sprinting at 9 meters per second. She first berzerks Ramadan, the Eridani, then berzerks Throm, the Python. She then sprints towards her opponents. She fires the FN-FAL at the largest target in sight, even though she stands little chance of hitting anyone. She moves from tree to tree, trying to get between multiple opponents to create Confusion. She uses Stun on any Pythons who approach. They're such easy targets. . .

Description: Battle Tactics: Rathis is under the effects of chem redox agent and white count injection. While approaching his target, he displaces to get over the ravine. Rathis fires his M-18L on full auto at the easiest target to hit, called shots to the chest. The round before he moves into hand to hand range, he fires off his Inferon.

Description: Battle Tactics: Throm waits on the first round, and becomes Berzerked on the second round. Full of delusions of capability, he fires his PK machine gun while charging opponents. Who knows? He may actually hit something! Heaven help the poor sap that allows him into melee range. Berzerk modifiers are included below. He fights to -2 body points before collapse. Once berzerk, Throm will automatically be sighted within 100 meters.

Description: Asrass inhabits an Aeodronian (Captain Green) who lost his foot to a pulse cannon. He was abandoned by his party and hoped to be rescued if his party won. Asrass, an Andromeni took over his body as he slept. Asrass regretfully abandoned his former Python Lizard body when it had a system breakdown. (A bullet severed its spine). Asrass attempts to join any party that will have him, but will not tell them of his true nature unless he believes it will gain him full acceptance to the party. Asrass is loyal, and will not alter a friend's body as long as it lives. He inhabits the next corpse the party creates. If a PC approaches within 2 meters of Asrass before the party agrees for him to join, Asrass attempts to take over a PC's's body against his or her will.
