Artifact Description

Rock Gun - This gun is considered tech level 8. Some suspect this is really a Sheustron weapon meant to confuse Alliance personnel, and it has done so remarkably well whether this is true or not. Only one of these has ever been found with a power pack nearby, something not even the top scientists of the Alliance can figure out. The weapon is a laser that uses an unknown mechanism to superintensify and concentrate the beam so that it not only shows up only on UV scans but it burns right through heavy armor. How it does this is unknown and even the famed Prunella "Granny" Frump and her crack team are left baffled by the technology(they took one apart to figure out how to make them and the required power packs). It is a pistol sized gun but with more power then most normal sized impact lasers, but so far nothing the Allaince or Sheutron have can mimic the power supply and so there is no way to recharge it.

(BM note: Sheustron technology might be able to adapt a less refined power pack but the consequences are unknown and so far untried but there have been unexplained explosions in Sheustron space.)
