The party should be awarded 12,000xp each, plus any bonus xp, for successfully completing the mission. The "pleasant surprise" in their paychecks is a 10,000 credit bonus. The party is now the favorite son of Fisk, and he will show them a little favor in the future, though not that much (What have you done for me lately?).

If the party fails, in any way, then they are on Fisk's shit list. It will take them some time to get off the list. They get no bonus in their paychecks, they only earn 8,000xp, and can expect to receive a real crap mission next - like actually getting Fisk's lunch.
