Race Overview
Xarians resemble six-legged, bumpy tables with shiny skin. Amphibious in origin, Xarians must keep their skin moist, usually with what is called a “t-cloth”. They breathe oxygen, and, in fact, the bumps which cover their bodies are air sacks which not only act as breathing reserves, but make the Xarians buoyant in the water. They have four small, bulbous eyes, and a large horizontal mouth between their first pair of legs. Their tongues are long, powerful, and dexterous, having tri-forked tips, that can manipulate many things. Their arm/legs end in four webbed fingers, but no opposable thumb equivalent. They see as humans, but have a better sense of smell. They are divided into clans where the richest rule. Their technology is equivalent to the Alliance, and they quickly produce automated factory planets and other large automatic systems. Most of their systems are run by artificial intelligence units or complex androids. They desire the mastery of trade and the economic exploitation of all others they encounter.
